For Burj Day Care we supplied and installed a complete outdoor play area for young children: a wooden playset with two slides, a climbing wall and a rope ladder, a four-seat seesaw and a four-seat carousel. Everything stands on poured EPDM wetpour safety flooring by Urban Terrain, so the surfacing and the equipment were planned as one job.
Shade came first. The playset sits under tensioned shade sails, which keeps the deck, slides and flooring usable for far more of the year. The carousel and the seesaw were picked because several children can use them at the same time, and in a nursery whole groups go outside together.
Both are moulded plastic seats on powder-coated steel frames, with a handle at every seat. See the full range of commercial playground equipment or the safety and protection range for indoor areas.
