For Sanad Village in Sustainable City, Dubai, we designed and installed a complete indoor play area for the school. It packs several activities into one netted enclosure: a ball pit with two soft-play slides, padded climbing steps, a wide slide down into the balls and an in-ground trampoline court.
Indoors, safety comes from soft surfaces and secure edges rather than shade. The whole structure is wrapped in white safety netting on padded frames, so children can climb and jump without a fall over the side. The trampoline beds are framed with red and blue padded covers, and the walls around them are lined with tall padded panels printed with the school’s own Sanad branding and Fun Zone artwork.
A padded bench and an open shoe cubby sit at the entrance, so children take their shoes off before they go in, which keeps the play area clean.
